We were approached to provide our services on a large land clearing job on behalf of the New Zealand Truffle Company. Their goal was to have an area free from any trees or vegetation that would affect the truffle-inoculated trees they were soon to be planting in order to start this new site. This included approximately 1.4km of shelterbelts and some 230 plus of mature mixed species trees (Gums, Oaks, Macro, etc).

Using our specialist equipment, we safely and efficiently removed all the trees and chipped and mulched all the debris. Our method of work meant we had very little to zero of manual processing or chainsaw work to do. This work was able to be carried out by a small crew who achieved the client’s brief on time and as promised.
Result:
The end result is an area that is now ready for the client to develop and plant. It is free from any competing trees or vegetation which will give the inoculated trees the best chance going forward. The area was left tidy and safe.
